Picture Frames :]

I made a little art gallery, nothing special. The first image has my collage. The second one is a picture of the twilight guys. And the third is the bellephant I made :]
Here you can see it more close up.

Also you can see the wood floor. The frames are actually a fabric, I thought that was unique and thats why I choose that. The walls are just a cream colored paint.

Life Quotes

P.S. we miss you Fitzer!

My robot isnt very detailed or high tech. I had a little trouble with her. My sketch was amazing, but it had to many objects we dont know how to do in 3ds max yet. The textures I used made her look more solid and realistic. To me its cool :] but to you who knows.

HAVE A GOOOOD WEEKEND!
T.G.I.F! :)

Texturing my castle :]

Its Thursday Oct. 24 we learned yesterday to texturize our idems on 3d studio max. Texturizing helps make your model look a lot more realistic. As you can see in my castle in its original stage down a couple post and now the new updated one. Personally I think there is a big difference. I like the difference :) What I did leave the same is the pointy tower head and the ring around them.
I have to say im a good note taker, because our teacher wasnt here today and I did this all by myself. You all should be proud ;) haHa

Basic audio. questions and anwsers.

1. What ranges of frequencies are detectable to the human ear?
20Hz to 20kHz.

2. Define Audio
“Sound” it specifically refers to the range of frequencies detected by the human ear.

3. Audio production involves what four elements of audio? Production, recording, manipulation, and reproduction of sound waves.

4. List 10 careers in audio and list a local company for six of the career fields
-studio sound engineer
-live sound engineer
-musician
-music producer
-DJ
-Radio Technician
-Film/television sound recordist
-Field sound engineer
-Audio editor
-Post-production audio creator.

5. List three careers that need to have an understanding of audio production concepts.
Video camera operators

7. What is a waveform? The resulting curves from a mathematical point, on a x vs. y graph.

8. Is sound two dimensional or three dimensional? Sound is 3D

9. How do variations in sound pressure correlate to a waveform diagram? High sound pressure show the waves forms densely packed together on a diagram.

12. Define transducer: a device which converts energy from one form into another.

13. Define amplifier: a device which takes a signal and increases its power.

14. Define signal processor: devices and software which allow the manipulation of the signal in various ways

My Castle :]

What I have learned about 3d modeling is how to form objects to make them look like a realistic item. Also I learned how to make a group of images, copied them, and made many many more, as you can see all my towers look similar.
My biggest challenge in 3d animation is lining up everything just right. In one view everything could look perfect but once you go into another view everythings all outta wack. It really gets frustrating but im starting to get a lot better at it.
If I were to do this project again I would want to make my castle have many levels, with more interesting towers.
My sketch wasnt very helpful because I like to do stuff freehanded. I like to create stuff as I go. But my sketch did kind of give me an idea.

First IMD I assignment.

The last week I have learned to work with 3ds max. It's a really neat program but I am having trouble with it. What I have learned is how to make 3D objects by using four views. To me it just gets frustrating but I'm hoping to get use to it sooner or later. I have trouble with lining everything up and stuff, its difficult for me.
These two images you see here are some examples of what I have been working on. If you look at the students in my classes work, its most likely a lot better and more cool than mine. Well I'm trying my best, I really do pay attention in class so hopefully my work will grow and become more interesting.
The picture on top is supposed to be a staircase connected to a couple floors. The image at the bottom is a barbell, you have to use two layers for the top and bottom pieces but in 3ds max we can copy items which makes it a lot quicker and easier to create objects.
